These photos were taken in early December by my friend, Julia Ross. I met her in college when I was her adviser for a Pre Med Freshman Interest group. Neither of us are doctors, but both of us have been middle level teachers, are married to our best friends, and have a son and daughter to light up our lives.
If you are in my local area, I would really recommend Julia for family photography.
These photos are taken at our favorite park, nearby the lake that my kids learned to throw rocks into. The sunlight is really similar to how golden the memories we have from this place. We come here weekly or more often in the warm months for playgrounds, long walks, strider bike rides, fall leaf searches, and the splash park. We come infrequently in the winter, but enjoy throwing rocks on the frozen pond and seeing how the seasons have changed the park.
My kids were in happy, silly moods during this photo time, and afterwards we took a long walk to search for walnuts and then played in the swings. It was a really good day.
And here are the photos in black and white, just to have them on the internet for my own future reference!

Prettiest expressions I've seen from your sweet girl! These are very good! :)
ReplyDeleteOh these pictures are great! Your kids are so cute! We've been looking for a photographer because my good friend who is a photographer is taking a maternity leave. I looked at Julia's FB page and like her work! I'll have to show it to my husband!
ReplyDeleteYour kids get cuter the older they get!
ReplyDeleteWow! These turned out so well! They look so genuinely happy.
